Trainees will receive on-the-job training aligned with terminal operations. Placement will be based on academic background, career interest, and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities (Training Outputs)
Successful trainees will be trained to:
Perform daily terminal operational duties
Handle cargo and commodities according to operational standards
Complete operational logbooks and report equipment defects
Use data terminals and maintain radio communication
Monitor equipment performance and report faults
Report incidents, accidents, and daily operational activities
Operate safety equipment such as fire extinguishers
Follow terminal safety rules and procedures at all times
Operate the terminal operating system (Navis)
Acknowledge and complete system-generated tasks
