Biological and Agricultural Sciences

Work-Back Obligation

All successful bursary recipients will be required to work for the Shoprite Group after graduation.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this internship opportunity, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

National Diploma or Degree (minimum NQF Level 6) in Civil Engineering or a related field

Completed qualification at the time of application

Valid Code B driver’s licence

Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape

Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

Must meet academic requirements for the field of study

Must not have previously participated in a Public Sector Internship

Willingness to work overtime when required

This Project Management Unit Internship Programme is based within the Infrastructure Services Department and is designed to support municipal projects while developing future professionals in engineering and project management.
