Minimum Requirements
Educational Requirements (Meet Option 1 OR Option 2)
- Option 1: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Pure Mathematics: Minimum 50% or Level 4
- Physical Science: Minimum 50% or Level 4
- English: Pass required
- Option 2: N3 Certificate
- Mathematics: Minimum 50%
- Engineering Science: Minimum 50%

Trades Offered
Applicants must choose two trades in order of preference:
- Aircraft Welding: Welding and repairing aircraft and engine components, heat treatment, plasma spraying, and manufacturing of aircraft parts and tooling.
- Aircraft Spray Painting: Corrosion prevention, repair of paint coatings, application of protective coatings, and painting aircraft interiors and exteriors.
- Aircraft Trimming: Manufacturing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft interiors and survival equipment.
- Aircraft Composite Structures: Manufacturing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft composite components.
